Today, a veteran team of bar review experts headed by former BAR/BRI Group Chief Operating Officer Richard Duffy officially launches Themis Bar Review, an online, lecture-based bar review course developed for today’s learner. Named after the Greek goddess of justice, Themis offers full-service bar exam preparation in California and Pennsylvania while students from all jurisdictions can register for the Themis MBE Review.
"After over 30 years of experience at the forefront of traditional bar exam preparation, and nearly a decade at the helm of the first computer-based bar review course, I've learned what works, what doesn't work, and why," said Rick Duffy, CEO and founder of Themis Bar Review. “That knowledge, coupled with recent online advances, allowed us to create a bar review course that is truly customized to the needs and learning style of today’s bar exam candidate. The result is a fully interactive bar review that addresses every hurdle a student will face in the bar exam process, while offering the highest degree of personalized support and a very reasonable price,” states Duffy.
Unlike other bar review courses that require students to adhere to rigid schedules and travel to sometimes distant classroom locations, Themis Bar Review allows students to access their course anytime, anywhere. Learners log in to on-demand lectures, diagnostic quizzes, comprehensive outlines, practice MBE and essay questions, and milestone exams. Students are assigned a personal bar exam adviser, who provides feedback on essays and supports them throughout their course of study. The highly interactive course tracks the learner's individual progress, offers a direct comparison to other students, and adjusts the daily study schedule – even if the student takes a few days off.
The full bar review course is being offered at an exclusive introductory rate of $1,395 for the July 2009 bar exam. Law students can register online at no cost during the spring of 2009 to reserve the introductory rate for the July bar exam. Further information about Themis Bar Review can be accessed at www.themisbar.com.
